Tips and advices to get to the Calanques from Marseille

Route details

 Around 30 minutes for the whole trip

  • Metro 1 (M1) LA Fourragère
  • Stop Castellane (2 stops- about 4 minutes)
  • Bus 19 Madrague de montredon
  • Stop Pointe Rouge (17 stops- about 20 minutes)

  • Public Taxi boat

  • Operate from 28April to 30 September
  • Time : 30 minutes from Vieux port to pointe rouge
  • Timetable : Start every hour from 7am to 7pm (each way)
  • Price : 5 € including 1:30h connection (bus, metro)

From the cruise terminal

  • Shuttle service

We propose Shuttle service from Cruise Terminal to our meeting point from 3 to 6 persons.

The price is 12 € per person.

If you are less than three, the price is 35 € (pick up and drop off).

We can also drop you off to the city center after the tour.*

From there you can take a bus at La Joliette  (No stop  – 15 minutes – price of a bus ticket)

  • Taxi or Uber

The Best option to come to us from Cruise Port is to take a Taxi or Uber (around 30 €/one way). You will find the way here

Route details

Around 70 minutes for the whole trip

  • Bus 35T to La Joliette (15 minutes – No Stop)
  • Metro 2 (M2) LA Joliette
  • Stop Perier- Prado (6 stops- about 6 minutes)
  • Bus 19 Madrague de montredon
  • Stop Pointe Rouge (15 stops- about 18 minutes)

Advices and ideas when you finish our Half day tour

  • A nice option at the end of the tour to visit the city center is to take a public water taxi boat (5€/person). You ll cross all Marseille bay by the sea. More informations here. We are really close from the dock.
  • Our tour end at 1.30pm so you have at least 2hours to spend in the city. From there you can come back to the ship by bus folowing this route  :

On Place de la Joliette take the RTM bus (n°35) to the Littoral Gourret stop.
Walk 1,600m – 2,000m to the Grand Port Maritime de Marseille and the cruise terminals.
The information boards in the port will tell you which quay your ship is on.
